i was going to suggest 55 when i saw the title. seems thats out tho so...

you will need regen and protection...

some skills that could be handy:
protective spirt
-or spirit bond
ignorance
throw dirt (Mo/R)
enchant removal (Mo/N or Mo/me)
guardian

it is likely you'll have to smite for your dmg..
reversal of damage
ray of judgement, word of censure, signet of judgment may be your best bets for a smite elite. ...Shield of Judgment is more of a 55 thing..

consider pve skills:
an asura summon or the ebon vanguard sin.
pain inverter

..if you Mo/Me and bring a degen or other hex, cry of pain.. also nifty for inting those crucial skills.

Just thinking out loud here...

You could probably do something of a Mo/Me signet smiter kinda setup. As Rynn suggested, bring a cheap hex and Cry of Pain, and then Signet of Midnight to blind the melee opponents. Then fill out the rest of the slots with a heal or two, a prot and/or a couple more smiting signets.

Hmmm... perhaps my main problem at this point is that my monk is so not well decked-out with skill choice... Maybe I will have to do that Kerrsh quest after all to get my remaining 6k of norn rep points for Guanyin to get her Norn armor before the end of Wintersday...

Painful Bond
Warmonger's Weapon (if you were full rit, earthbind)
Nightmare Weapon (extra damage plus the fact my spear doesnt do jack damage anyway)
Zealous Bendiction (if you were full rit, wanderlust)
Prot spirit

12 communing, 11 channeling and the rest in prot (should be around..10+? with sup headgear)

technically you dont need the last 2 skills, they were just there for peace of mind when things go wrong.

as stated earlier, if you wanna spiritspam, when the door opens, cast on the second rail (not the one closer to you). warmonger's weapon is really nice for disruption (i use a shield/spear-any will do) for slow casters like Eve or Razah (don't wait to cast your spirits if you get him, bum rush him with warmongers and then cast your own.)

if you were running a full rit build, wanderlust+earthbind+rest of spirits=GG
ive had to use PS (+ench weap) and ZB once or twice against Magni when I didn't have enough coffee (sometimes he just gets lucky and smacks down your shadowsong after purging)

this build's worked pretty well for me.

its a 1v1 duel hosted by Magni The Bison in Gunnar's Hold. You earn a little norn rep for winning, unlock the heroes Kahmuu and Xandra by defeating them, get Zho's Journal by defeating her, and Zhetuka's (sp) Horn by defeating him while holding his horn you picked up in upper Elona.

it costs 100g to enter each tournament and can be fun if you have the right build which is all but unbeatable..

there are many similarities to Street Fighter... Magni The Bison.. M. Bison... for one.

	Core Hamstring 15 10 Sword Attack. If this attack hits, your target is Crippled for 3..13..16 seconds, slowing his movement. (Attrib: Swordsmanship)

	Core Healing Signet 4 2 Signet. You gain 40..130..159 Health. You have -40 armor while using this skill. (Attrib: Tactics)

	Factions Breath of Fire 30 2 5 Spell. Create Breath of Fire at target foe's current location. For 5 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are struck for 10..34..42 fire damage each second. (Attrib: Fire Magic)

	Core Fire Storm 30 2 10 Spell. Create a Fire Storm at target foe's location. For 10 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are struck for 5..29..37 fire damage each second. (Attrib: Fire Magic)

For what it's worth, that build would not be so bad if gash were in place of hamstring, and he threw in an IAS and defensive stance, .
