Per Ahni's request, here are some hero builds that I've found to be effective:

Disclaimer: I don't presume to take credit for any of these builds, this is just a handy place to put some builds without searching the wiki pages.

Necromancer:

	Necromancer / No profession 12 Soul Reaping 12 Curses You gain 12 Energy whenever a non-Spirit creature dies near you, up to 3 times every 15 seconds.

Prophecies Spiteful Spirit 10 2 15 Elite Hex Spell. For 18 seconds, whenever target foe attacks or uses a skill, Spiteful Spirit deals 29 shadow damage to that foe and all adjacent allies of that foe. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Prophecies Insidious Parasite 12 1 15 Hex Spell. For 13 seconds, whenever target foe hits with an attack, you steal up to 39 Health from that foe. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Suffering 5 1 15 Hex Spell. For 25 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes suffer -2 Health degeneration. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Nightfall Rip Enchantment 10 1 5 Spell. You lose 7% Health. Remove one Enchantment from target foe. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Rend Enchantments 20 1 5 Spell. Remove 8 Enchantments from target foe. For each Monk Enchantment removed, you take 31 damage. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Enfeebling Blood 5 2 10 Spell. Sacrifice 10% maximum Health. Target foe and all nearby foes suffer from Weakness for 17 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Nightfall Well of Darkness 20 1 10 Well Spell. Exploit target corpse to create a Well of Darkness for 41 seconds. Hexed foes within the Well of Darkness miss 50% of the time. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Nightfall Signet of Lost Souls 8 ¼ Signet. If target foe is below 50% Health, you gain 82 Health and 8 Energy. (Attrib: 12 Soul Reaping)

Necro Damage Support

	Necromancer / Monk 12 Death Magic 8 Soul Reaping 10 Protection Prayers You gain 8 Energy whenever a non-Spirit creature dies near you, up to 3 times every 15 seconds.

Nightfall Jagged Bones 15 1 5 Elite Enchantment Spell. For 30 seconds, whenever target undead servant dies, it is replaced by a level 12 jagged horror that causes Bleeding with each of its attacks. (Attrib: 12 Death Magic) Core Animate Bone Minions 5 3 15 Spell. Exploit nearest corpse to animate two level 10 bone minions. (Attrib: 12 Death Magic) Core Rotting Flesh 3 3 15 Spell. Target fleshy foe becomes Diseased for 22 seconds, slowly losing Health. (Attrib: 12 Death Magic) Core Death Nova 2 5 Enchantment Spell. For 30 seconds, if target ally dies, all adjacent foes take 85 damage and are Poisoned for 15 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Death Magic) Core Blood of the Master 2 1 5 Spell. Sacrifice 5% maximum Health. All of your undead allies are healed for 99 Health. You sacrifice an additional 2% maximum Health per minion healed in this way. (Attrib: 12 Death Magic) Core Protective Spirit 5 ¼ 10 Enchantment Spell. For 17 seconds, target ally cannot lose more than 10% max Health due to damage from a single attack or Spell. (Attrib: 10 Protection Prayers) Core Aegis 30 2 10 Enchantment Spell. For 9 seconds, all party members within earshot have a 50% chance to block attacks. (Attrib: 10 Protection Prayers) Nightfall Dismiss Condition 3 ¾ 5 Spell. Remove one Condition from target ally. If that ally is under the effects of an Enchantment, that ally is healed for 55 Health. (Attrib: 10 Protection Prayers)

Necro Minion Bomber

	Necromancer / No profession 10 Blood Magic 8 Soul Reaping 12 Curses You gain 8 Energy whenever a non-Spirit creature dies near you, up to 3 times every 15 seconds.

Core Enfeebling Blood 5 2 10 Spell. Sacrifice 10% maximum Health. Target foe and all nearby foes suffer from Weakness for 17 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Strip Enchantment 15 1 10 Spell. Remove one Enchantment from target foe. If an Enchantment is removed, you gain 90 Health. (Attrib: 10 Blood Magic) Core Mark of Pain 20 1 10 Hex Spell. For 30 seconds, whenever target foe takes physical damage, Mark of Pain deals 34 shadow damage to adjacent foes. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Unholy Feast 12 ¾ 15 Spell. Steal up to 47 Health from up to 3 foes in the area. (Attrib: 10 Blood Magic) Prophecies Shadow of Fear 5 2 10 Hex Spell. Target foe and all adjacent foes attack 50% slower for the next 25 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Suffering 5 1 15 Hex Spell. For 25 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes suffer -2 Health degeneration. (Attrib: 12 Curses) Core Vampiric Gaze 5 1 10 Spell. Steal up to 46 Health from target foe. (Attrib: 10 Blood Magic) Core Blood is Power ¼ 5 Elite Enchantment Spell. Sacrifice 33% maximum Health. For 10 seconds, target other ally gains +5 Energy regeneration. (Attrib: 10 Blood Magic)

Monk:

Core Word of Healing 3 ¾ 5 Elite Spell. Heal target ally for 105 (+32) Health. Heal for an additional 83 Health if that ally is below 50% Health. (Attrib: 12 Healing Prayers) Prophecies Dwayna's Kiss 3 1 5 Spell. Heal target other ally for 51 (+32) Health and an additional 30 Health for each Enchantment or Hex on that ally. (Attrib: 12 Healing Prayers) Nightfall Dismiss Condition 3 ¾ 5 Spell. For 5 seconds, damage received by target ally is reduced by 5 each time that ally is hit while under the effects of this Enchantment. (Attrib: 8 Protection Prayers) Target ally gets healed for 32 Health. Core Protective Spirit 5 ¼ 10 Enchantment Spell. 	Monk / Ritualist 11 Healing Prayers 10 Divine Favor 10 Channeling Magic

For 20 seconds, target ally has a Splinter Weapon. Target ally's next 4 attacks deal 35 damage to up to 3 adjacent foes. (Attrib: 10 Channeling Magic) Factions Heaven's Delight 30 2 10 Spell. Heal yourself and party members within earshot for 177 points. (Attrib: 10 Divine Favor) You get healed for 32 Health. Core Healing Seed 25 2 10 Enchantment Spell. For 10 seconds, whenever target other ally takes damage, that ally and all adjacent allies gain 23 Health. (Attrib: 11 Healing Prayers) Target ally gets healed for 32 Health. Factions Triple Chop 10 5 Elite Axe Attack. Attack target foe and adjacent foes. Each attack that hits deals +34 damage. (Attrib: 12 Axe Mastery) This attack skill has 12% armor penetration. Core Executioner's Strike 8 Axe Attack. If this attack hits, you strike for +34 damage. (Attrib: 12 Axe Mastery) This attack skill has 12% armor penetration. Core Cyclone Axe 4 5 Axe Attack. Perform a spinning axe attack striking for +10 damage to all adjacent opponents. (Attrib: 12 Axe Mastery) This attack skill has 12% armor penetration. Core Dismember 5 Axe Attack. If it hits, this axe blow will inflict a Deep Wound on the target foe, lowering that foe's maximum Health by 20% for 17 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Axe Mastery) This attack skill has 12% armor penetration. Prophecies Axe Twist 7 Axe Attack. If this attack hits a foe suffering from a Deep Wound, you strike for 16 more damage and that foe suffers from Weakness for 20 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Axe Mastery) This attack skill has 12% armor penetration. Core Balanced Stance 30 5 Stance. For 10 seconds, you cannot be knocked down and you do not suffer extra damage from a critical attack. (Attrib: 3 Tactics) Core Shield Bash 20 5 Skill. For 10 seconds, while wielding a shield, the next attack skill used against you is blocked. If it was a melee skill, your attacker is knocked down and that skill is disabled for an additional 15 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Strength) Core Resurrection Signet 3 Signet. Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This Signet only recharges when you gain a morale boost.

Triple Chop Warrior

	Warrior / No profession 9 Strength 11 Swordsmanship

Core Gash 7 Sword Attack. If this attack hits a Bleeding foe, you strike for 16 more damage and that foe suffers a Deep Wound, lowering that foe's maximum Health by 20% for 16 seconds. (Attrib: 11 Swordsmanship) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Core Sever Artery 4 Sword Attack. If this attack hits, the opponent begins Bleeding for 20 seconds, losing Health over time. (Attrib: 11 Swordsmanship) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Prophecies Pure Strike 8 5 Sword Attack. If Pure Strike hits, you strike for +22 damage. If you are not using a Stance, Pure Strike cannot be blocked. (Attrib: 11 Swordsmanship) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Core Hundred Blades 8 5 Elite Sword Attack. Swing twice at target foe and foes adjacent to your target. (Attrib: 11 Swordsmanship) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Core Power Attack 3 5 Melee Attack. If this attack hits, you strike for +28 damage. (Attrib: 9 Strength) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Prophecies Protector's Strike 3 ½ 5 Melee Attack. If this attack strikes a moving foe, you strike for 28 more damage. (Attrib: 9 Strength) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Core Final Thrust 10 Sword Attack. Lose all adrenaline. If Final Thrust hits, you deal 30 more damage. This damage is doubled if your target was below 50% Health. (Attrib: 11 Swordsmanship) This attack skill has 9% armor penetration. Nightfall Lion's Comfort 1 5 Skill. All of your Signets are disabled for 12 seconds. You are healed for 60 Health, and you gain 5 Health for each rank in Tactics. (Attrib: 9 Strength)

Hundred Blades Warrior

Ranger:

	Ranger / Monk 12 Expertise 6 Wilderness Survival 11 Marksmanship

Nightfall Crossfire 4 5(3) Bow Attack. If this attack hits target foe, it deals +16 damage. If that foe is near any of your allies, this attack cannot be blocked. (Attrib: 11 Marksmanship) Nightfall Burning Arrow 5 10(5) Elite Bow Attack. If this attack hits, you strike for +25 damage and cause Burning for 4 seconds. (Attrib: 11 Marksmanship) Nightfall Screaming Shot 8 10(5) Bow Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +21 damage. If your target is within earshot, that foe begins Bleeding for 16 seconds. (Attrib: 11 Marksmanship) Core Apply Poison 12 2 15(8) Preparation. For 24 seconds, foes struck by your physical attacks become Poisoned for 8 seconds. (Attrib: 6 Wilderness Survival) Core Savage Shot 5 ½ 10(5) Bow Attack. If Savage Shot hits, your target's action is interrupted. If that action was a Spell, you strike for +24 damage. (Attrib: 11 Marksmanship) Core Distracting Shot 10 ½ 5(3) Bow Attack. If Distracting Shot hits, it interrupts target foe's action but deals only 13 damage. If the interrupted action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds. (Attrib: 12 Expertise) Core Whirling Defense 60 10(5) Stance.
