Here's a generic Terra Tank build I run.

Terra Tank

Be sure to use a Superior Earth Magic Rune and an Earth headgear as well to get Earth Magic up to 16.

Optional: Switch out  for  to boost armor by 42 more (for Hard Mode, especially...), or if you're in Jaga Moraine farming the Spectral Vaettirs, you may drop  and take  instead. Why? The Vaettirs do Earth Damage, oddly enough, for their melee attacks.

Drawbacks: Obviously there is no self-heal, so if you're in a party, you'll want some healers. If you're soloing, you'll want to make sure you don't take much damage. Or run an E/Mo variant with a self heal and .

Edit: You could also take , and boost up your Inspiration Magic some more at the cost of having less Energy overall.

Yay! Now I can pick one of my many armors and gear Lais up for a specialized build!

Here's my version:

Enchanted Tank
Worked very well in Slaver's Exile, especially for tanking Duncan. Just make sure that you're the first in agro range, use all geomancer armor, and he's reduced to nothing but a wander. It also helps if the swappers only take the disenchantment spirit away, so that you have more things hitting you for energy.

Also, I've found that a good swap for Sliver is to use Radiation Field. Good AoE plus diseased condition, for additional pressure on the monks to exhaust themselves twisted

Only downside that I find to Terra-Tanking: If agro breaks, you pretty much just stand there looking stupid, since so many of your skills are used just to keep yourself alive.

That's a good idea, I'll have to try working in Radiation Field.

Just sayin'...

True enough, which is why I've finally completed my scythe build for Iscaroth (well, almost, just need a couple of skills)

Why has everyone in Guild Wars forgotten that tanks have really big guns to kill stuff?
